（1） Treatment of mixing drum stop running of concrete mixer truck
Check the supporting wheel and motor of the mixing drum to see if there is any debris stuck. If so, clean up the debris. If it is not due to debris stuck, call the rescue vehicle immediately. Under the condition that concrete can be discharged, the pipe joint of the high-pressure hose on the motor can be removed, and the mixing drum can be rotated to let the access hole of the mixing cylinder go down to discharge the concrete from the manhole.
At the same time, connect one end of the failure pump to the rescue truck, connect the other end of the failure pump to the lower end of the truck, and then connect the hose to the lower end of the truck to the rescue truck. If conditions permit, the motor that fails can be replaced directly. After the motor is replaced, each oil pipe is connected, and the mixing drum can rotate normally.
（2） Structure and working principle of mixing drum of concrete mixer truck
Most of the mixing cylinders of the small concrete mixer truck are pear shaped. The mixing drum is inclined on the frame through the supporting device and can rotate around its axis. There is only one opening at the upper rear of the mixing drum to load or discharge materials respectively through the feeding and discharging device. The shell of the mixing drum is a variable cross-section and unsymmetrical double cone, the shape is pear shaped, the bottom cone is short, the end face is closed and welded with flange, and the reducer is connected with bolts through the connecting flange.
The transition part of the upper cone has a circular raceway, which is welded on the plane circumference perpendicular to the axis of the mixing drum. The whole mixing drum is inclined to lie on the three-point support structure composed of the reducer shell fixed on the frame and a pair of supporting rollers through the connecting flange and the annular raceway, and the reducer drives the smooth rotation around its axis. In the upper part of the circumference of the mixing drum raceway, there is usually a steel belt wrapping to limit the upward jump of the mixing drum when the concrete mixer truck is running in a bumpy wave.
The internal structure of mixing drum of small concrete mixer truck is different from that of double cone mixer and pear shaped mixer, which is designed to meet the process requirements of unloading and feeding mixing without tilting and reversing at a single cylinder mouth. Two continuous ribbon spiral blades are symmetrically welded along the inner wall from the barrel mouth to the bottom of the mixing drum. When the mixing drum rotates, the two blades are driven to move around the axis of the mixing drum, which is the fundamental device for mixing or discharging concrete. In addition, in order to enhance the mixing effect, an auxiliary mixing blade is installed between the two spiral blades in the middle and lower part of the mixing cylinder.
A section of feeding pipe is welded along the inner edge of two spiral blades at the mouth of mixing drum of small concrete mixer truck. The feeding duct and the cylinder wall are separated into two parts in the form of concentric circles. The central part of the conduit is the feeding port. The concrete is loaded into the mixing drum. The annular space formed by the conduit and the wall is the discharge port. Seen from the end face of the discharge port, it is divided into two parts by two spiral blades. When discharging, the concrete flows out from here under the pushing of the reverse spiral movement of the blades.
